Pet Policy

Animals are permitted in some areas of this Centre. 

  • dangerous, menacing, restricted, unvaccinated and or unchipped animals prohibited.
  • entry into food business areas where food is handled, prepared and or served is prohibited
  • must remain at least 10 meters away from Centre’s playground;
  • must remain in immediate presence of owner on a leash no longer than 1 to 1.5 meters or caged and never unattended;
  • owner must maintain control over animal at all times and immediately remove animal that is threatening, aggressive and or noisy;
  • owner must clean up and dispose of any animal mess at the Centre’s waste disposal locations;
  • entry into individual tenancies is subject to that tenancy’s individual animal policy;
  • any owner and animal may be asked to leave and or be removed from the Centre at the Centre’s sole and absolute discretion;
  • entry into the Centre is at the owner’s and animal’s own risk;
  • owner indemnifies the Centre from any loss and damage suffered due to the owner’s and or animals conduct whilst in the Centre; and
  • without limiting any other term or condition, all persons entering the Centre do so voluntarily and at their own risk with knowledge that another person(s) may bring an animal(s) into the Centre.

Car

Toombul Shopping Centre is located on the corner of the East-West Arterial Road and Sandgate Road. If travelling on the Airportlink M7, simply take the Nundah exit onto Sandgate Road. The centre is located only 8km from the Brisbane CBD and 3km from the Brisbane Domestic and International Airports.

Bus

A bus interchange is located at the Sandgate Road entry to the centre, with Northside bus services including routes 301, 306, 307, 308, 310, 315, 321, 322, 326, 327, 369 and 590.

Train

Toombul Train Station is located opposite the centre on Sandgate Road and is within easy walking distance from the Western entrance of the centre, closest to Kmart.

Taxi

There is also a Taxi Rank available at the Western entry to the centre, closest to Coles.

Cycle

There are bike racks located at the Western entry to the centre, closest to Coles for your to store your bike while at Toombul. Please bring your own bike lock.

Toombul Shopping Centre offers over 1,700 car spaces, with parking easily accessible from Sandgate Road, Grace Street, Masefield Street and Widdop Street.

We have ample seniors, disabled and parents with prams parking available for your convenience.

No Commuter Policy:

To ensure all of our customers are provided with a convenient and accessible shopping experience, Toombul Shopping Centre does not permit commuter parking in our car park.

Our car parks now feature world-leading Electric Vehicle (EV) charging technology, with dedicated charging bays to suit all electric vehicles, please see below for some frequently asked questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the electric vehicle charging stations located?
We have two dedicated charging area. Our fast charging stations (capable of adding up to 60kms of range in 15 mins) are located in the Level 1 undercover car park. Our Level 1  carpark is open from 7am to 10pm daily. The ultra-rapid chargers (Capable of adding up to 400kms of range in 15 mins) are on Level 2 of the undercover car park. Our Level 2 is open 24 hours. All of our EV chargers are managed and supplied by Chargefox. Using their app makes it easy to find, charge and pay for sessions. 

How much does it cost to charge your vehicle?
Charging at our Level 1 fast chargers is complimentary for customers. Charging at the ultra-rapid chargers on Level 2 is currently priced at $0.40 per kWh, or free if you are eligible for discounts on the Chargefox network. You can find out more about their pricing via the Chargefox app.

How long can I charge my vehicle?
Customers are welcome to use the charging stations for as long as they wish.

What hours are the charging stations available?
The charging stations will be available to customers during the car park opening times.

How many of charging stations do you have?
We have eight charging stations available, including two Tritium 350kW ultra-rapid chargers. These are the fastest chargers in the world. 

The charging station won’t work for me, who can help?
The centre management team will be able to assist with any faults in the first instance. If you have any questions or require assistance with the standard electric vehicle chargers, please call 1300 518 039.

What types of vehicles can use the charging stations?
All modern EVs are able to charge at our stations. Chargers feature both Type 1 and Type 2 connectors on the cables so you can charge regardless of manufacturer. The ultra-rapid chargers on Level 2 are fitted with CCS 2 and CHAdeMO cable options fitted that can plug directly into your vehicle. If your vehicle has a different plug type to CCS 2 and CHAdeMO, an adapter will be required at these stations. Tesla owners can charge via the grey charging units on level 1, but require an adapter to use the ultra-rapid stations on Level 2.

Do I need to register my details anywhere?
You will need to sign up to the Chargefox app in order to use our chargers, accounts are free.

The JP Service is located outside near Ed's PC's.
